CureFIP™ GS-441524 Injectable 40mg/ml
High-Concentration Formulation for Severe, High-Dose, Resistance, and Relapse Cases
CureFIP™ GS-441524 40mg/ml is the highest-concentration injectable in our range. For cases where the standard 30mg/ml formulation is insufficient — large cats, severe cases requiring high-dose protocols, GS-441524 resistance, or relapse — it delivers the required total GS-441524 dose in a smaller injection volume.
This is not a question of greater efficacy. It is a question of administration precision and minimising burden on the cat.
Why 40mg/ml Is Necessary
In large cats or cases requiring elevated doses, lower-concentration formulations produce injection volumes that become clinically excessive per dose. The 40mg/ml format minimises injection volume while ensuring the required GS-441524 quantity is delivered accurately, reducing cat discomfort and facilitating home administration where applicable.
Indicated Cases
Adult cats over 5 kg Greater body weight demands greater total GS-441524 dose. The 40mg/ml format keeps injection volume within a clinically acceptable range.
High-dose induction phase at treatment initiation Some protocols employ elevated GS-441524 doses at treatment onset to suppress viral load rapidly. The 40mg/ml format is optimised for this induction phase.
Suspected GS-441524 resistance or relapse cases When treatment response at standard dosing is insufficient, dose escalation is a clinical option. The 40mg/ml format makes escalation practical by minimising the resulting injection volume.
Severe FIP — cases requiring rapid viral suppression In severe wet FIP, neurological FIP, and ocular FIP, rapid viral suppression at treatment onset directly influences prognosis. The 40mg/ml format makes high-dose administration viable from day one.
Concentration Selection Guide
| Concentration | Recommended Patient |
|---|---|
| 20mg/ml | Small cats and kittens under 2.5 kg |
| 30mg/ml | Adult cats 2.5–5 kg, standard FIP cases |
| 40mg/ml (this product) | Over 5 kg, high-dose, severe, resistance, relapse cases |
Administration Protocol
Dose is calculated based on mg of GS-441524 per kg body weight. The calculation principle is identical regardless of concentration used. Use the dosing calculator to determine the precise dose.
For resistance or relapse cases, consider dual antiviral therapy with EIDD-1931 (CureFIP™ Dual Antiviral Oral Capsules). Combining two antivirals with distinct mechanisms of action constructs a dual barrier against viral resistance.
For cases presenting with systemic complications — anaemia, neurological involvement, appetite loss — consider the CureFIP™ GS-441524 + B12 40mg/ml formulation.
